Job Summary:
Our team is currently seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join us. An ideal candidate for this position is someone with 4-5 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining software applications using C# and .NET Core. The candidate should be able to develop, code, test, and debug modules using various software development metrics and best practices. Good communication skills to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams are prerequisites for this role.
The candidate must have the ability to work independently and confidently, and should be able to develop and maintain our finance/ERP/ reporting systems. In summary, this role requires you to have an in-depth knowledge of .Net development.
Once selected, you will be part of the Technology team and you will be reporting to an IT Manager. You will be primarily responsible for contributing towards the development and maintenance of our mission-critical finance/ERP/ reporting systems.
Role Expectations:
• Ability to liaise and collaborate with various business teams for functional specifications, requirement gathering, and development of software solutions.
• Should possess strong skills in C# and .Net core frameworks.
• Should have knowledge of and experience implementing & improving processes around CI/CD (Jenkins) & DataDog.
• Other additional good-to-know concepts include Docker, K8s, microservices, and usage, test-driven thinking, and developing good software (using SonarQube metrics for instance).
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills while interacting with various teams across the organization.
• You will need to be adaptable and flexible to work as per business requirements, and respond positively to changes.
• This is a full-time and onsite only position.
Role Responsibilities:
• Implement database designs using Entity Framework (Postgres).
• Work with various external connector libraries (RESTful, SFTP, CSV, etc.) to integrate systems and APIs.
• Apply AWS concepts such as S3 and RDS while developing cloud-based solutions.
• Review code and debug software applications leveraging best coding standards and practices.
• Develop high-quality code using CI/CD pipelines, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance these pipelines.
• Take responsibility for addressing and resolving defects in software modules.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field
• Thorough knowledge of C# and .Net Core.
• Hands-on experience with .Net development, and Entity Framework (Postgres desirable).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, and microservices, and AWS concepts (S3, RDS) is a plus.
